Development
The human brain begins forming very early in
prenatal life ( just three weeks after conception ), but in many ways, brain
development is a lifelong project. That is because the same events that shape
the brain during development are also responsible for storing information, new skills
and memories, throughout life. The major difference between brain development
in a child versus learning an adult is a matter of degree: the brain is far
more impressionable ( neuroscientists use the term plastic ) in early life than
maturity. This plasticity has both a positive and negative side. On the
positive side, it means that young children’s brains are more open to learning
and enriching influences. On the negative side, it also means that young
children’s brains are more vulnerable to developmental problems should their
environment prove especially impoverished or un-nurturing.
Many factors can influence fetal brain development,
but most healthy pregnant women do not need to radically alter their lifestyles
in order to promote optimal brain development.
The factors are :
1.
Nutrition,
nutrition of foods that mother eats is good for brain development and eyes
retina of fetus.
2.
The
environmental, physical and emotional being of the mother, all have a profound
effect on fetal brain development. The happiness of mother is very important
for the attitude of child. If mother is stress, it can increase the problem of
child’s attitude.
3.
Religion
and Moral of mother.
4.
Voice
of mother. Voice of mother is the most melodious voice for a baby, it can be a
good stimulation for baby.
5.
Mother
touch. Mother touch can make synaptogenesys tissue or the relationship of each
nerve will be more.
6.
Inviting
fetus speaks. This can increase the kinship between mother and child. It also
can make child can restrain his emotion.
7.
Music,
etc.
